Atlantic Scale Company has been selected by Hi-Speed Checkweigher Systems as a factory authorized service center for Hi-Speed/Garvens Checkweighers. Atlantic Scale’s personnel have completed extensive training courses at Hi-Speed’s facility in Ithaca, NY, so that you receive the highest quality checkweigher service.
We are equipped with all necessary test instruments and N.I.S.T. traceable calibration weights. Personnel are certified in trouble shooting, new start ups, and calibration. Our facility is fully stocked with a large supply of necessary parts to better service your checkweigher needs.
Our preventative maintenance program consists of the following:
- Lube all moving parts
- Calibrate the checkweigher to its highest accuracy up to +/- 2 sigma (95%)
- Inspect all belts, chains, gear sprockets, and bearings
- Check balance and stability of machine
- Inspect all load cells
- Reset all chips in the controller
- Check wiring for wear
- Adjust eyes for proper lock-out time
- Reset timing and spacing belts so as to maximize product flow. (if applicable)
- Remove debris that may hinder weighing accuracy
